Producing
Libre Image backs films that take Algerian society seriously. Its history and its memory, its youth, its migrations, its women, its environment. Around fifteen titles since 2010, co-produced whenever the subject runs past a single border.
Distributing
Bringing audiences back to cinemas means offering them what they cannot reproduce at home. Libre Image has released films by Agnès Jaoui, Costa-Gavras, Clint Eastwood, Cédric Klapisch, Abdellatif Kechiche and Rabah Ameur-Zaïmeche in Algeria, often with the crews in the room, and launched two festivals that did not exist.
