The editorial line
We look for films that ask a question nobody has answered properly yet. Colonial history and what it left in people's bodies, a youth inventing its own place, migration in both directions, women's rights, the environment. Format follows subject, never the reverse.
How we work
Libre Image comes in early, while the project is still finding its shape, and stays until release. The company assembles the co-productions, finds the broadcasters, files the applications and follows the making. Since 2010 that work has been done with France, Italy, Germany and Qatar.

Nextdoc
Boualem Ziani founded this workshop for emerging producers. The job cannot be learned alone, and Algeria is shorter on producers able to carry authors than on authors.

Send a statement of intent, a synopsis and where the project stands. Say whether part of the finance is already in place, and from whom. We answer everything that falls within our line.
